Press Release: Coastline College Celebrates More Graduates and More Degrees for the 43rd Annual Commencement

On Friday, May 31, 2019, Coastline College’s 43rd commencement ceremony, is to be held at 4 pm, in the Robert B. Moore Theater, in Costa Mesa, CA. The 2019 graduating class is earning a total of 3,162 Associate in Arts degrees, Associate in Science degrees, and Certificates of Achievement. This represents a 17.2% increase from last year. The ages of our graduates range from 19 years old to 74 years young, proving that you really are never too young or too old to pursue higher education.

Coastline College has been named again a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education (CAE-CDE) by the National Security Agency (NSA) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS). There are only three community colleges in California that hold this distinct designation and Coastline was the first community college in California to receive this prestigious designation in 2014.

Press Release: Coastline College Hosts Events and Workshops to Observe Sexual Assault Awareness Month

In an effort to raise awareness about sexual assault and its prevention, Coastline College located in Orange County, will be observing Sexual Assault Awareness Month.  Sponsored by the Office of Title IX & Student Equity, the college will host a series of events to inform and educate throughout the month of April. These events will include workshops, trainings, and other resources, located at Coastline’s three campuses; Garden GroveWestminster, and Newport Beach as well as the administrative campus located in Fountain Valley.
