Special Event: Coastline Strives to Improve the Lives of Students Living with Acquired Brain Injury

In January 2019, the Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA) announced that the Congressional Brain Injury Task Force, chaired by Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-N.J.), has announced Brain Injury Awareness Day on Capitol Hill, Wednesday, March 13, 2019. The Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA) leads the nation in observing Brain Injury Awareness Month by conducting an awareness campaign in March each year.

Coastline’s Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Program will be participating in the National Brain Injury Awareness Day on March 13, 2019, in order to raise awareness about Acquired Brain Injuries and the ABI Program. There will be hosting a series of events at various campuses to educate students, staff, faculty, and the community about the wonderful work the ABI program does.

We encourage you to come to support the program and get a first-hand look at the differences it has made in the lives of Coastline students.
