As you know, online and distance learning has developed over the years and become a growing percentage of college education courses offered by educational institutions nationwide. Stressing about finals? We get it. Here at Coastline College, we want all of our students to start with their best foot forward and we do everything we can for our students to succeed. With that being said, we have put together the top tips to help you stay focused and achieve the best results during finals.

With that being said, we have put together the top are some, quick tips to help you stay focused and achieve the best results during finals. And when in doubt, just remember to keep calm and study on! 1. CREATE A MASTER STUDY LIST Take time and create a study schedule for the remaining days in the semester. This way you give each class the time you need to prepare. Break cumulative exams into smaller study units. 2. ORGANIZE YOURSELF After you create your study schedule, collect all the materials you’ll need to study such as study guides, previous tests and assignments, text books, and class notes to be thorough. 3. ASK FOR HELP Need more help? Schedule time with your professor, tutor, learning specialist or even classmate if you do not understand a particular topic. 4. QUIZ YOURSELF Whether it is creating flashcards or covering up your notes and testing your knowledge, try different techniques to learn the subject. 5. STAY DISTRACTION FREE Not only should you study in a distraction-reduced environment, but remember to turn off your cell phone, TV and email notifications. Need a place to study?
