The All-California Academic Honor Roll has been announced, and two Coastline College students Yvonne Su and Alicia Olivares have been selected for the 2025 Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) All-California Academic Team. The Community College League of California honors these distinguished students for their outstanding academic achievements, leadership, and service.
PTK, an international honor society established in 1918, recognizes the academic excellence of community college students and provides opportunities for leadership and professional growth. The All-California Team is part of PTK’s statewide recognition program, building on the success of the national All-USA Team.
Each year, students from California’s 116 community colleges are selected based on their grades, leadership, and contributions to their communities. The All-California First, Second, and Third Teams will be officially announced in mid-April.
“The hard work and dedication of these students demonstrate their academic excellence, making them a symbol of hope for the future and the success of our community colleges,” said Dr. Larry Galizio, President and CEO of the Community College League of California.
As part of the honor, Su and Olivares will receive medallions and certificates in recognition of their achievements. Coastline College congratulates them on this well-deserved recognition and celebrates their contributions to academic excellence and service.
The Community College League of California is honored to recognize the 2025 Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) All-California Academic Honor Roll Students.
PTK recognizes the academic achievement of college students and provides opportunities for its members to grow as scholars and leaders. Established in 1918, PTK has grown to more than 3.5 million members in the United States and worldwide. Building on the success of the national All-USA Team Program, PTK launched the All-State Academic Team Program to provide recognition at the state level for top community college students.
The students selected represent some of the best of the 2 million students enrolled in California’s 116 community colleges. Grades, leadership and community service determine selection to the All-California First, Second and Third Teams, which will be announced in mid-April.
“The hard work and dedication of these students demonstrate their academic excellence, making them a symbol of hope for the future and the success of our community colleges,” said Larry Galizio, Ph.D., President and CEO of the Community College League of California. “For this reason, the League is honored to recognize the All-California Academic Honor Roll honorees with a gift of medallions and certificates.”
