Fountain Valley, Calif. — Coastline College proudly recognizes four Fountain Valley High School students in its Digital Media Design Dual Enrollment program who were selected as semi-finalists in Vital Link's Digital Media Arts Showcase and My Dream Career competition. These countywide events highlight the creativity, technical skill, and career aspirations of middle and high school students across Orange County.
Among these outstanding achievements, Fountain Valley High School student Lennon Morales earned 1st place in Photography in Vital Link’s Digital Media Arts competition. This remarkable accomplishment reflects Lennon’s exceptional creativity and artistic skill. The Fountain Valley High School and Coastline College communities proudly celebrate this achievement.
“You’ve made all of us here at FVHS very proud, Lennon!” said Mrs. Seals.
Students competed in the Digital Media Arts Showcase by submitting original creative work in areas such as photography, graphic design, animation, websites, film, and music composition. Entries were evaluated on creativity, storytelling, technical execution, and effective use of digital tools. Photography semi-finalists Lennon Morales and Trian Nguyen were recognized for their compelling visual compositions and innovative digital imagery.

In the "My Dream Career" competition, students combine photography and a written essay to present a visual and personal narrative about their future profession. Ahmad Hamida earned recognition for an essay describing how his experience struggling with acne inspired him to study skincare formulations and pursue a future as a cosmetic chemist. Nhu Pham shared her dream of becoming a tour guide through an essay, inspired by growing up in Ho Chi Minh City and her desire to introduce visitors to the culture, traditions, and everyday life of Vietnam.

We also extend congratulations to their Fountain Valley High School teacher, Zoë Seals, who also serves as a Coastline College Digital Media Design Dual Enrollment instructor. The program provides high school students with the opportunity to earn college credit while developing technical and creative skills in digital media.
Student work was featured at the Vital Link VIP Night on March 10, 2026, where semi-finalist projects were showcased to an audience of educators, industry professionals, and community leaders. The event celebrated student achievement and encouraged career exploration through real-world learning experiences.
